The Process for Installation of Water Filtration and Water Softeners
- The water should be tested to insure the proper equipment is proposed and that there is sufficient room for the equipment.
- A typical set-up would consist of filtration to remove chlorine, iron, sediment, etc. And a ion exchange water softener to remove the calcium and magnesium from the water.
- The home is prepped in the design stage so that a drain, electric outlet and water main loop are planned for. This makes for a neat, clean installation.
- Once the area where the equipment will be installed is complete, the systems can be installed.
- At this time Clear Solution Services will send an employee with the equipment and install and start-up each unit.
- At anytime after that, we are available for training/educating the home owner on the operation and maintenance of each system. There are no additional charges for this service.

- The equipment will fit under most sinks. The system connects to a cold water source and will have a drain that connects to the sink drain.
- The purified water will attach to the customer provided faucet or a generic chrome faucet, provided by Clear Solution Services.
- The ½” hole in the counter top can be pre-drilled by the installers of the counter top.
- If purified water is wanted at a refrigerator across the kitchen, then in the plumbing stage, run 3/8” tubing from the sink area to the water inlet valve behind the refrigerator.
