The Process for Installation of Water Filtration and Water Softeners

  1. The water should be tested to insure the proper equipment is proposed and that there is sufficient room for the equipment.
  2. A typical set-up would consist of filtration to remove chlorine, iron, sediment, etc. And a ion exchange water softener to remove the calcium and magnesium from the water.
  3. The home is prepped in the design stage so that a drain, electric outlet and water main loop are planned for. This makes for a neat, clean installation.
  4. Once the area where the equipment will be installed is complete, the systems can be installed.
  5. At this time Clear Solution Services will send an employee with the equipment and install and start-up each unit.
  6. At anytime after that, we are available for training/educating the home owner on the operation and maintenance of each system. There are no additional charges for this service.

The Process for Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Systems

  1. Preferably after move in, the reverse osmosis system would be installed.
  2. The equipment will fit under most sinks. The system connects to a cold water source and will have a drain that connects to the sink drain.
  3. The purified water will attach to the customer provided faucet or a generic chrome faucet, provided by Clear Solution Services.
  4. The ½” hole in the counter top can be pre-drilled by the installers of the counter top.
  5. If purified water is wanted at a refrigerator across the kitchen, then in the plumbing stage, run 3/8” tubing from the sink area to the water inlet valve behind the refrigerator.
